COVID-19 Update and Our Services and Programs as of November, 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues across the world, it is important that you know that our team of front line workers continue to serve and protect all of our participants.

Despite the many challenges, Start Me Up continued to work and remain open through the pandemic. With the virus threat level reduced, and the city preparing to further re-open businesses and services, Start Me Up Niagara is also entering its next phase of its pandemic response. Going forward, we have been carefully examining how best continue to deliver, safely, the services and programs we offer the community.

We have employed a team of two hygiene monitors that ensure, both the staff and visitors of our facilities, are protected and that we are fully compliant with the regional and provincial health safety guidelines.

To ensure the wellbeing of everyone that uses our facilities, we have to place strict limits on the number of staff and participants in the building at any given time. This may result in a short queue before entering the building, accordingly, we ask all visitors to be patient with staff as they screen and assist all participants. Also, we have strict hours during the day where we close for staff lunch and to sanitize and make safe for everyone.

Everyone entering our buildings must undergo a pre-screening and will be required to wear face masks.

Thank you for your understanding, compassion and support of Start Me Up Niagara.
